a 17” K ZILDJIAN CHINA BOY CYMBAL, BLOCK LETTER ERA
in EXCELLENT USED CONDITION! This cymbal is very versatile, due to its diameter, and can be be used in a multitude of ways for a diverse range of musical styles.
Mount it in the traditional “face-up” method and it becomes a great secondary right side ride cymbal for a change up in sound and textures.
Invert it for powerful, attention-getting crashes and accents as well as some riding on the bow area!
This is a great, versatile cymbal weighing in at 1128 grams!
This cymbal’s condition would be described as in EXCELLENT USED condition but well cared for, devoid of any structural flaws such as cracks, chips or keyholing and this cymbal retains all of the factory ink in nearly original, full condition. This cymbal has no serial number which indicated that it was produced before 1995.
Zildjian describes this cymbal as “Dark, exotic China sound. ‘K’ hammering produces low-pitched ‘trashy’ sound with extremely fast decay.”
This cymbal has an attention grabbing sound, making for a great choice in just about any type of music you play. It can be used like a crash in a rock setting, inverted or not, or would be right at home in a jazz or soft rock setting as well.
