For your consideration, a 2004 ZILDJIAN Z CUSTOM series ROCK CRASH CYMBAL in GREAT to EXCELLENT used condition!  With a serial number beginning with the letters “JD”, this NO LONGER MADE cymbal is a powerful, yet musical crash cymbal!

When in production, Zildjian proudly proclaimed the Z Custom series as “utilizing exclusive computer controlled hammering with unique hammer shapes, fine lathing patterns of narrow, symmetrical grooves, all of which make for a cymbal which explodes with vitality and a bright, piercing, pronounced volume.”

And I kinda dig the swirling hammering pattern myself as it makes me think of the Milky Way galaxy and that weapon from the movie “Krull”….

This used cymbal has fingerprints, smudges and stickmarks and could probably stand to be polished but I am leaving that up to you. The ink has been mostly polished away but the “Zildjian” is still faintly there as is the “Z Custom Rock Crash 18/43cm” ink. 

This cymbal has no cracks, chips or significant keyholing and is ready to be part of your arsenal!  The edge is unbelievably smooth!

This cymbal weighs a tasty 1826 grams and lives up to Zildjian’s billing of the day as being “a loud powerful crash with strong high-end.” 

Zildjian, blind with ambition to mail out 20″ Medium Rides to every person on the face of the planet, has ceased production on this model!

And while you could part with $309.95 for an A series 18″ Rock Crash (which are finely made), you can have something a little more special and unique which will make your sound more — you!
