a NO LONGER MADE 20” ZILDJIAN A series CHINA BOY LOW CYMBAL
in GREAT CONDITION! This cymbal is very versatile, due to its diameter, and can be be used in a multitude of ways for a diverse range of musical styles.
Mount it in the traditional “face-up” method and it becomes a great secondary right side ride cymbal for a change up in sound and textures.
Invert it for powerful, attention-getting crashes and accents as well as some riding on the bow area!
This is a great, versatile cymbal!
This cymbal’s condition would be described as USED but well cared for, devoid of any structural flaws such as cracks, chips or keyholing and this cymbal retains all of the factory ink in nearly original, full condition. Being a pre-serial number cymbal, this cymbal was manufactured before 1995, which also means that it is part of the BLOCK LETTER Zildjians, heralding from 1980 to 1994.
Zildjian describes this cymbal as “A swooping edge, square bell and thin weight creates the authentic, trashy China sound but with that extra Zildjian quality.”
This cymbal weighs a deliciously thin 1789 grams and has an intriguing attention grabbing sound, making for a great choice in just about any type of music you play.
Zildjian has ceased production on this model and offers it only in the 18″ size which means that you are getting this one for around the price of an 18″ and the 18″ isn’t near the cymbal this one is, so this is going to be a rare grab and grab while you can before it’s too late and this cymbal is gone!
