a  20” SABIAN PARAGON CRASH CYMBAL

 in EXCELLENT USED CONDITION!  This cymbal’s condition would be described as well kept, devoid of any structural flaws such as cracks, chips or keyholing and NEIL PEART’s signature is still on the inside of the bell.

And for those of you who have been living on the moon for the last 40 years or so, SaBiAn created the PARAGON line in cooperation with the late Neil Peart, according to his discriminating taste, right down to the less obvious gold ink used for the brand and model designations.  Neil would actually show up at the Sabian facility with a bottle of acetone to remove the black ink logos on the prototypes and that’s why gold ink was chosen.

This cymbal weighs a musical 2180 grams and has an alluring low pitch making for a great just about any type of music you play.  It has a bright explosion of sound when played as a crash in a rock setting, and could double as an alternate ride cymbal.  And like all of the Sabian Paragon cymbals, this cymbal features a microlathing on the top surface, the standard wider lathing on the bottom and a hand hammered bell.  It even still sports Neil’s signature inside the underneath part of the bell.  Pretty groovy!

Sabian describes this cymbal as “Medium weight model with large, volume-boosting bell and explosive responses.”

I would say that this cymbal is a real attention getting in the sonic realm and could really punctuate the music and possibly obliterate your guitar player’s ego!

Yes you could go out and grab this very model, brand new, never been hit all the while parting with $329.99, plus shipping and/or taxes!  But you would be money ahead buying this cymbal right here, right now!
