For your consideration and immense pleasure, a 21” ZILDJIAN A series ARMAND RIDE CYMBAL, in GOOD to GREAT USED CONDITION! One of Zildjian’s best ever rides cymbals, this cymbal sports a serial number which begins with the letters “JG” indicating that it was part of the 2007 production run.
This scintillatingly thin ride cymbal is an absolute joy to play and features the trademark A Custom micro lathing on the top surface and the traditional A series wide lathing on the bottom side and boasts a large bell, great for playing patterns on!
This cymbal still retains the inked model designation and logos which are still very full and visible. This cymbal still retains most of the inventory tag on the inside of the underneath side of the bell.
The condition of this cymbal would be best described as having obvious signs of use such as fingerprints, stick marks as well as some discoloration along the edge from about 9 o’clock to 11 o’clock. This cymbal still has a sheen and shine to it. It could be cleaned but I am leaving that up to you. This cymbal has no cracks, chips or keyholing and is ready to be part of your arsenal!
This cymbal weighs an incredible 2432 grams, presents ample ping combined with a nice mix of “tah”. The ping from the bell has the presence of heavier ride cymbals and this cymbal allows for very musical and effortless crashes!
One wonders why Zildjian ever quit making these! I guess they felt that there weren’t enough 20″ Ping Rides in the world already!

This cymbal has a great sound with a nice wash and is an excellent choice for Rock, Jazz, Big Band, Funk, Latin, R&B – anywhere you need a prominent ride cymbal sound.
