a GORGEOUS and STUNNING 9×10″ DW DRUM WORKSHOP COLLECTORS’ SERIES TOM, in the RED HOT, RED SPARKLE FINISHPLY from the GOLD BADGE era (2006) in GREAT, USED CONDITION! Yes, 9×10″ (depth x diameter) combined with the NO LONGER OFFERED BLACK POWDER COAT HARDWARE.
More elusive than a unicorn, this tom features a build date of MAR 16 2006 and has the timbre matched pitch of “C#”. Not meaning to be redundant, this drum retains the GOLD BADGE, which seems to be the shortest era of badges for DW.
The photos really do not do this drum justice! It is absolutely stunning!
If this drum retained the factory heads, it would be dead mint! It is in incredibly well preserved condition for a 20 year old drum! Every part works as intended and it can be used right out of the box with some tuning according to your taste!
This drum is equipped with an EVANS EC2S batter head and an EVANS BLACK RESONANT bottom head. All of the plys are solidly joined with NO ply separation and the “jigsaw” joints of the reinforcing rings are still tight.
The bearing edges are smooth to the touch and this drum is in round.
The finishply lap joint is tight and in near perfect condition. The black hardware is in factory condition and DW no longer offers the black power coat.
This size of drum tends to be very rare, especially in this condition!
This drum was apparently well cared for!
