A previous owner attempted to repair the head by applying masking tape.

a VINTAGE EARLY 1980s LUDWIG LM404 ACROLITE 5×14″ SNARE DRUM, 

 in GREAT, USED CONDITION!  

This  Ludwig snare drum features all of the Original Equipped Manufactured components, right down to the heads!

This drum is pretty much the same Acrolite from the 1970s but has the Blue & Olive badge with rounded corners which is indicative of an early 1980s production run. This snare drum simply needs a fresh bottom head to replace the bottom head but you may want to swap out both heads to your satisfaction.

Whether your music is Jazz, Rock, Funk, Fusion, Ska, Reggae, Hard Rock, Soul, R&B, Country to Punk, Metal or R&B, this snare drum is a great choice with it’s attention grabbing tone!
