For your consideration, a 16″ ZILDJIAN A series FrankenSizzle™ CRASH/SPECIAL EFFECTS CYMBAL in FAIR to GOOD used condition. A little about this unique, nearly one of a kind cymbal as it started life as one of a pair of Zildjian 16″ “FIELD” cymbals, as the model ink states, which can still be seen faintly on the top surface of this cymbal.
There’s no telling where this cymbal’s other half is; perhaps it is chocking the school band’s bus.
At some point, a previous owner (presumably Dr. Frankenstein) added 8 rivets to this heavy 16″ cymbal to make a sizzle out of this lonely remnant of a pair of hand cymbals which were intended for marching band or drum and bugle corps use. This cymbal also has a crease about 2″ long which can be seen in one of the provided photos.
This used cymbal has fingerprints, smudges and stickmarks and could probably stand to be polished but I am leaving that up to you. This cymbal has no cracks, chips or keyholing and is ready to be part of your arsenal!
This cymbal weighs 1673 grams and, yet, Zildjian has no description of this cymbal being used as a mounted cymbal, which is odd because I am predicting that these, like the 20″ Ping Ride, are going to be mailed out to every household on the globe.
