For your consideration, a VINTAGE 1957-1960 16″ ZILDJIAN CRASH CYMBAL, BENDABLE THIN, in GREAT used condition. Very musical, this cymbal produces an expressive burst of sound to punctuate your groove and make an artistic statement! With a nice patina which has befriended this cymbal, it has no cracks or chips but does have a small amount of keyholing and is ready to be part of your arsenal! It does have a more human involved lathing and the trade stamp indicates that this one of the 1957-1960 Zildjians, weighing at 964 grams.
This is a cymbal which fits into most any musical situation and even has some nice ride like qualities to it, making it optimal for double duty as both a crash cymbal and as an alternate ride cymbal in those lower volume settings. The bell has a piercing “ping” which is great for Latin patterns. It makes for a nice alternate ride cymbal as well having just enough weight for light ride cymbal patterns.
