One of my All-Time Favorites, I actually refer to this model as the
Bon Jovi” Ride cymbal since it is perfect for playing songs like Living on a Prayer, Pour Some Sugar On Me, Don’t Stop Believing, and Separate Ways.
The late Ed Shaughnessy, among others, endorsed this model of ride cymbal when he was the drummer on Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show before he switched to Sabian, therefore it makes for an appropriate cymbal for large ensembles such as a big band as well as for loud music such as Rock and Hard Rock.
For your consideration and immense pleasure, a NO LONGER MADE 21″ ZILDJIAN A series ROCK RIDE CYMBAL, in GREAT USED CONDITION! This is cymbal is ready to use but could use a cleaning, if that’s your thing or you could leave and add to the patina which has already developed. This cymbal still retains all of the logos and model designation and this cymbal has obvious signs of use such as fingerprints, stick marks, some spots of tarnish and the like – giving it great character and a played in sound and feel! This cymbal has no cracks, chips or keyholing and is ready to be part of your arsenal!
This cymbal weighs a healthy 3498 grams and this is a very loud, penetrating ride cymbal with strong overtones and a strong basic sound! The bell has an undeniable, clear and precise “ping” and with a serial number beginning with the letters “JG”, this cymbal hails from the 2007 production run.

Zildjian describes this cymbal as “An excellent all-purpose Ride Cymbal designed especially for rock drummers. A heavy cymbal with a larger, deeper cup. If Zildjian still produced this great model of ride cymbal, you would be hard pressed to buy one new for any less than $379.95 and still the pay shipping and/or taxes on top of it!
